Basin East Salon is a locally owned and operated salon for those who are looking for an experience above and beyond what most salons deliver, without the NYC prices. From the moment you walk in you'll be greeted with a warm and friendly smile (and a glass of wine or coffee too!) The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing and you'll feel like you can let your hair down (pardon the pun) and get away from all the craziness of your daily life.
Some have called us their therapist, others have referred to us as magicians, and many call us their friends. You can expect to have a one on one relationship with your stylist and they will work with you throughout your entire service to bring your vision to reality. You won’t be “passed off” from one person to the next, handed from assistant to colorist to junior stylist to senior stylist.
Our desire is that you should walk away from your appointment feeling rejuvenated, refreshed, and confident with your new look. If you’ve ever gazed at your hair after your appointment and felt deflated then it’s time for a change.
If you’re looking for a $9.99 hair cut we’d be happy to provide you with a referral to someone down the street. We've always believed that you get what you pay for and how much can you get for the cost of a latte and a scone at a coffee shop? But we also believe that you shouldn’t have to cringe when you get your bill and feel guilty about the amount of money you just spent.
We are happy to work with the entire family including women, men and children. Walk ins are always welcome but we highly encourage a phone call in advance so that you're not waiting around too long for your appointment.
